Schodack Landing 70th Anniversary

Come join your local Volunteer Fire Department in Celebrating 70 Years of service to the community. 🎉🎉🎉

Mutual Aid Drill: Ice Water Rescue 2025

On Saturday, February 15th, Nassau Fire Department along with Castleton Fire Department, East Schodack Fire Company, Schodack Landing Fire Company and Nassau Ambulance held a cold/ice water rescue drill in the Town of Nassau and Castleton.

The departments learned about ice/cold water safety and participated in multiple rescue exercises with the firefighters. Firefighters practiced & demonstrated their technical rescue skills and self rescue skills.

Mutual Aid Drill: Tetherball 2024

Meant to encourage working together with other departments, and improve our hose advancement skills.
We do this annually as a fun training event! This year the departments that participated were:
Like traditional Tetherball, the goal is to get the ball over on to the other team’s side, in order to win.
After a process of elimination, Team 1 was declared the winner of this year’s event!

On June 4th, 2024, our member “Anthony Kourmoulakis”, completed the second Phase of “Firefighter 1” Training, earning his certification in Interior Firefighting.

On December 8th, 2023, two of our members successfully completed the first Phase of “Firefighter 1” Training and earned certification as Exterior Firefighters.

It is with great sorrow that on December 1st, 2023,

our member, Maria Marcucci, has passed.

Services were held at Emmanuel Reformed Church, 1150 Maple Hill Road, Castleton-On-Hudson, N.Y. 12033 on Tuesday, December 5, at 1:00 p.m.

On November 26th, 2023 a Tribute Parade was held for Maria Marcucci, all departments representing Battalion 4 were present during this event.
