Coumbes, Laurie L. (Moak) SCHODACK LANDING Laurie Coumbes (Moak), 74, of Holiday, Fla., died Monday morning, September 14, 2009 in her residence in Fla. surrounded by her family and friends, after a long illness. She was born in Albany and lived in Schodack Landing most of her life. She worked as a part time shirt press operator and was a homemaker for her own children and raised her grandchildren after the death of her daughter. Mrs. Coumbes (Moak) was a member of the Schodack Landing Ladies Auxiliary for many years and a member of the Schodack Landing Reformed Church. Survivors include her three sons, Richard, Thomas and William; 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two husbands and her daughter, Jammie. Mrs. Moak also has a brother, Leroy Hallenbeck of Castleton, and a sister, Freda Platt in Holiday, Fla.
