On December 8th, 2023, two of our members successfully completed the first Phase of “Firefighter 1” Training and earned certification as Exterior Firefighters.

It is with great sorrow that today on December 1st, 2023 at 3:43pm,
that Maria Marcucci, has passed.
Services were held at Emmanuel Reformed Church, 1150 Maple Hill Road, Castleton-On-Hudson, N.Y. 12033 on Tuesday, December 5, at 1:00 p.m.
On November 26th, 2023 a Tribute Parade was held for Maria Marcucci, all departments representing Battalion 4 were present during this event.

What a Year we have had! We would like to thank all of our visitors that came down and supported us this summer, we had a record year. Our members and even some non-member made it every Friday night, come rain or shine, to serve food that was unbelievable. We have one more function on the 11th of November, then we are done till next year.
But we would not of had the year we had without you THANK YOU!!!!!

Members of the Schodack Landing Fire company was presented a check for 10,000 dollars from Rensselaer County Executive and Legislative branch from money left from wise budget practices from last year. We would like to thank them for their work to serve our County.

We will not be at the Schodack Island Park this Friday Night 07*30*2021 we will be in Stuyvesant falls for the Firemen’s Convention with a parade on Saturday at 2pm
Fire House Fridays
Come and enjoy a night of great food and company. Every Friday Night May 28th – September, 5 – 8. We are pleased to announce that we have been doing great at the park. The park has advised us that they looking at bringing Music in the park and the Castleton Farmers Market will be coming by the end of the month.

We welcome a new Inflatable Boat to our Apparatus!
The Members of Schodack Landing Fire Company would like to thank Ed Secovnie, and “Boats To Go” out of North Miami, Florida, for the acquisition of our new Inflatable Rescue Boat 31.
This 14 foot SATURN inflatable with it’s 25hp motor is light, easy to carry, and sturdy enough to handle most water related emergencies in the Town Of Schodack, including the Hudson River.
